Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.
Note: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure are included.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Combat Party
According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.
Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.
Casimir then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
- Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team access locations they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.
This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Explorers and Planners parties.
