To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring to dissolve. Then, turn off the stove and leave to reach room temperature completely. Pour into a sealable bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about a month.

Preparing the Batch Mix: Pour all the liquids into a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then strain , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the batch mix into a stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for one minute to cool it down. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries and complete it using a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
